When I first got this battery, I did expect it to be a bit bigger in size and have it stick out from the bottom, which is fine since it acts as feet for the laptop. Upon installing it, I had some problems getting it to snap into the laptop. I'm using this on an HP Pavilion dv9500 and don't have any problems with my other batteries. I then noticed that along the seam of the battery, there are tool marks where I guess it was taken apart to be rebuilt. It wasn't pressed back together as tightly as it could have been. It's that reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It holds a charge much longer than the high capacity one I bought, albeit is also bigger in size.



Edit 2010/08/03:

After using this battery for a bit, I've ran into some issues. After using the laptop for a bit, it'll report as having about 40% battery life after a while, and then suddenly turn off. After 40%, it seems like it has no charge left. Maybe it's reporting the charge incorrectly, but it's very annoying since my laptop isn't ready for it and my work won't be saved. With a regular working battery, it can take proper action when the battery is about to die. This was a deal breaker and I have stopped using it. As a result, I've updated my product rating.

I reviewed this product previously and stated that the box my keyboard came in was pretty well destroyed...the keyboard literally fell out of it without me having to open it! Luckily, the keyboard works perfectly still! The company did contact me after my first review and offered to ship me another one or give me a refund. Hopefully, they will also fix the packaging issue for future shipments.
